Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a DevOps Developer located in Kampala, Uganda, with the flexibility to work from home for specific tasks. The DevOps Developer will manage and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), develop and deploy applications through modern software development practices, and ensure seamless continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Additional responsibilities include system administration and effective management of Linux operating environments.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automating and managing infrastructure
- Experience in Software Development and Continuous Integration workflows
- Strong knowledge of System Administration and maintaining Linux environments
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills coupled with a proactive mindset
- Sound understanding of best practices in DevOps and system security protocols
- Experience in cloud platforms is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
