Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into high-quality content for marketing, social media, websites, ads, and other platforms.
• Add graphics, sound, music, dialogue, and effects to enhance video storytelling.
• Collaborate with creative teams, producers, and clients to understand project requirements.
• Review scripts, storyboards, and shot lists to plan editing approaches.
• Apply color correction, sound design, and motion graphics where needed.
• Organize and manage media files, ensuring efficient workflows and version control.
• Stay current with editing techniques, video trends, and platform-specific best practices.
• Meet project deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid Media Composer.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
• Knowledge of audio mixing, color grading, and basic motion graphics.
• Ability to follow creative direction and adapt to project feedback.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video work.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience with motion graphics tools (Adobe After Effects).
• Knowledge of animation, 3D tools, or visual effects.
• Familiarity with social media content formats (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
• Experience working in fast-paced or agency environments.
• Understanding of cameras, lighting, and production setup.

Work Environment

• May work independently or as part of a production or marketing team.
• Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple ongoing projects.
• Collaboration with directors, producers, designers, and clients.
