JOB TITLE: IT SOFTWARE/SYSTEM TRAINER – INTERMEDIATE TRAINER (5 POSITIONS)

NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME

SALARY: KSHS. 40,000

JOB LOCATION:WESTLANDS


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct user training sessions for staff and system users across different departments, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and system adoption.
  • Develop, adapt, and maintain training materials, user manuals, quick reference guides, and e-learning content suited to different user levels.
  • Evaluate trainees’ understanding through assessments, hands-on exercises, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Provide targeted post-training support to help users address challenges and build proficiency.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from training sessions to recommend improvements to the training process and materials.
  • Collaborate with implementation and support teams to ensure training content accurately reflects system capabilities and updates.
  • Prepare and submit daily or weekly training progress and performance reports to supervisors.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the organization’s systems, software updates, and processes to ensure accurate and relevant training delivery.


KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Education, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of experience conducting user training or capacity-building sessions, preferably on software or digital platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex or technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in creating engaging training materials and using digital learning tools will be an added advantage
