JOB TITLE: IT SOFTWARE/SYSTEM TRAINER – SENIOR TRAINER
NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME
SALARY: KSHS. 40,000
JOB LOCATION:WESTLANDS
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and facilitation of user training sessions across multiple departments.
- Design, develop, and refine advanced training materials, user manuals, reference guides, and e-learning modules tailored to diverse user groups.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, performance assessments, and system usage analytics.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Intermediate Trainers to ensure consistency and quality in training delivery.
- Work closely with implementation, support, and technical teams to align training objectives with evolving system functionalities.
- Gather and analyze feedback from trainees and stakeholders to identify gaps and recommend process or content enhancements.
- Prepare comprehensive training reports and performance metrics for management review.
- Offer advanced post-training support, troubleshoot user issues, and serve as a key resource person for training-related queries.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of organizational training frameworks and methodologies.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Education, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience conducting user training or capacity-building sessions, preferably on software or digital platforms
- Proven expertise in translating technical concepts into practical, easy-to-understand training content
- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring or supervising training teams is highly desirable
- Ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery
- Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and digital training tools is an advantage
