Working Hours: Aligned to UK Timezone (Monday–Friday)

About the Role
Global Capability is expanding its technology division and looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI agents that drive automation and improve efficiency across our operations and client projects.
You’ll be based at our Nairobi CBD office (View Park Towers), collaborating closely with our leadership and development teams to deliver practical, high-impact AI solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI tools and frameworks while operating in a fast-paced, international environment aligned to UK working hours.

Key Responsibilities
• Build and deploy AI agents capable of handling real-world business tasks and decision-making.
• Design and manage LLM-powered workflows, connecting APIs and internal data systems.
• Develop and optimize prompt chains, context memory, and reasoning logic for automation.
• Use frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and OpenAI API to build scalable agentic systems.
• Implement and maintain RAG pipelines, embeddings, and fine-tuned models.
• Collaborate with business and operations teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Continuously monitor, test, and enhance the reliability and performance of deployed AI systems.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in AI/ML engineering, NLP, or software development.
• Proven track record building or deploying AI agents or LLM-based applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB).
• Understanding of prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and RAG workflows.
• API integration and automation experience.

Preferred Skills
• Experience deploying AI systems via FastAPI, Flask, or serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks (CrewAI, AutoGPT, BabyAGI, etc.).
• Exposure to MLOps, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployments.
• Understanding of ethical AI, data privacy, and responsible AI use.
