About the Role:
Deliver Faster Ltd is an e-commerce delivery company specializing in fast and reliable motorbike last-mile logistics. We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our delivery operations in Mombasa. The ideal candidate will have a background in e-commerce or on-demand delivery platforms and a strong track record of managing rider fleets, optimizing routes, and ensuring top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee end-to-end last-mile operations for e-commerce deliveries in Mombasa.
• Manage, coach, and evaluate dispatchers, supervisors, and over 100+ delivery riders.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective order deliveries to customers.
• Optimize rider routes, schedules, and performance using digital tools and data.
• Track operational KPIs — delivery turnaround time, customer satisfaction, and fleet utilization.
• Implement standard operating procedures and enforce company policies.
• Coordinate with customer service and warehouse teams to resolve delivery issues.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new riders to meet operational demand.
• Prepare daily and weekly performance reports and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in last-mile delivery operations within e-commerce or on-demand platforms.
• Proven ability to manage large rider fleets and dispatch operations.
• Strong knowledge of Mombasa routes and local delivery dynamics.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and delivery management software.
