JOB DETAILS: Background Green Power International Limited is a Uganda-based company dedicated to providing high-quality solar energy and water solutions. Locally registered and incorporated since 2017, we are committed to delivering innovative and sustainable energy solutions across Uganda and the East African region. Our goal is to enhance energy access and water security through reliable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly technologies tailored for homes, businesses, institutions, and large-scale projects. Role We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing solar company. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills and a good understanding of renewable energy solutions, with the ability to drive sales of solar and related water/energy products to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar and related water/energy solutions Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable solutions Promote company products and services through meetings, presentations, and demonstrations Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and sales documentation Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure excellent customer service Coordinate with technical and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution Track leads, manage the sales pipeline, and provide regular sales reports Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall company growth Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline (such as Marketing or Business Administration) Minimum of two years of proven sales experience Experience or exposure to solar, water, or renewable energy solutions is an added advantage Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team Willingness to travel as required Preferred Skills Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office applications Basic understanding of solar energy systems and products
