DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and implement individualized learning programs tailored to the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Use specialized teaching methods and tools to support children with developmental, cognitive, or physical challenges.
• Work closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to monitor progress and share updates.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively and promote positive social interactions among learners.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and development.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events as required.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Diploma or Degree in Special Needs Education (SNE), Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with young children with special needs.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to the well-being of children.
