JOB SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will play a key role in strengthening engagement with key nursing stakeholders in hospitals. The role serves as a bridge between the company and the nursing ecosystem, focusing on ICU nurses, matrons, ward in-charges, and clinical educators who influence treatment decisions in parenteral nutrition, critical care, and infusion therapies. He/She will lead nurse-specific CMEs, product training, and bedside demonstrations, supporting hospital conversions and driving clinical credibility for the company’s portfolio.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build strong professional relationships with matrons, ICU nurses, theatre/ward in-charges, and nursing educators.
- Map and engage nursing KOLs and decision influencers within hospitals.
- Deliver bedside product demonstrations and clinical support for injectables, infusion therapies, and nutrition solutions.
- Train nurses on correct administration, dosage protocols, compatibility handling, and adverse event reporting.
- Coordinate and facilitate CME programs for nurses and doctors in partnership with internal teams.
- Support hospital brand conversions through nurse engagement and product feedback sharing.
- Maintain structured reporting of hospital visits, trainings, and field intelligence.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards, pharmacovigilance, and company guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing, registered with Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
- 3–6 years’ experience in ICU, ward, theatre, or nurse educator/medical support roles.
- Strong professional network within Nairobi referral, private, and teaching hospitals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging nurses and doctors.
- Hands-on expertise in IV/infusion product usage and clinical support.
- Proven track record in training delivery, CME facilitation, and nurse education.
- Highly proactive, organized, and capable of independent fieldwork.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and structured reporting.
