Job Summary

The Marketing Officer will plan and execute marketing strategies to support the company’s brand visibility, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This includes managing advertising platforms like billboards, digital campaigns, and social media. The role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to handle both online and offline marketing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advertising & Outdoor Media

Coordinate and process payments for billboards and other outdoor ads.

Monitor billboard contract expiry and ensure timely renewals.

Liaise with vendors for inspections, maintenance, and campaign changes.

Maintain a schedule and database of outdoor marketing assets.

2. Social Media & Digital Marketing

Design or coordinate the creation of social media content (images, videos, reels, etc.).

Schedule and post content on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), etc.

Monitor engagement metrics and generate performance reports.

Respond to inquiries and comments professionally.

3. Campaign Execution

Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns and promotions.

Coordinate with designers, writers, and other creatives.

Support product/service launches with marketing efforts.

4. Market Research

Conduct research on industry trends, customer behavior, and competitors.

Provide insights to guide marketing decisions.

5. Event Support

Assist in planning and executing corporate events, product launches, trade shows, etc.

Coordinate logistics: banners, giveaways, promotional items.

6. Internal Communication & Coordination

Work with internal teams to gather information for marketing.

Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Service teams.

7. Administrative Duties

Maintain marketing budgets, invoices, vendor contracts, and campaign trackers.

Prepare reports, presentations, and marketing dashboards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.

Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage).

Excellent communication and writing skills.

Ability to meet deadlines.

Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Attention to detail and a data-driven approach.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role.

Experience with social media management tools.

Familiarity with digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads) is a bonus.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Timely payment and renewal of billboard/media placements.

Growth and engagement on social media.

Quality and timeliness of marketing content.

Successful execution of campaigns/events.

Budget adherence and cost optimization.
