JOB DETAILS: Purpose of the Job: To lead all recruitment and training operations for Skilling Program at Makerere University, community engagements and industry attachments. Qualifications An Honour’s Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Agricultural Extension, Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Studies, Agribusiness, Business Studies, Business Statistics, Education, Engineering, Development Studies, Rural Development, Mass Communication, Youth Development, from a recognized institution. Added advantage Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management or Monitoring and Evaluation from a recognized institution. A certificate in skilling Programme, Agribusiness or Entrepreneurship from a recognized institution. Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate selection and recruitment activities of Skilling Youth on the Program; Establish and coordinate partnerships to facilitate recruitment and training of the Skilling Youth; Lead the planning, scheduling, and operationalization of Skilling Youth training activities; Work with trainers, facilitators, and subject matter experts to develop curricula and training materials that are relevant, inclusive, and aligned with industry and community needs; Serve as the primary liaison between the Program and communities/industry participating in the Youth skilling programs; Coordinate and monitor the placement of Youth into meaningful industry attachments and track their performance and learning outcomes; Monitor, identify and report any safeguarding concerns that may arise during the Program implementation; Compile and analyze data related to Program activities, and prepare accurate, timely reports to
