Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Trainer – Security & Drills to join our team in Uganda. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in security operations management and training, with hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive security programs and emergency preparedness drills. This role requires an individual who can assess risks, design customized training modules, and enhance the organization’s overall safety culture. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deliver effective security and safety training programs tailored to organizational needs. Conduct risk assessments and develop appropriate mitigation measures and protocols. Plan, coordinate, and execute emergency drills and evaluate their effectiveness through detailed post-drill analysis. compliance with local and international safety regulations, standards, and best practices. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of all training activities, risk assessments, and security procedures. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to staff on security protocols and emergency response. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security strategies into overall operational planning. Leverage prior Operations Management experience to ensure seamless coordination of security activities and resource optimization. Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Proven experience in Security Training, Risk Assessment, and Emergency Procedures. Demonstrated experience in Operations Management within a security or safety-focused environment. Strong training, presentation, and facilitation skills. Excellent planning, analytical, and organizational abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Proficiency in report writing, documentation, and compliance management. Knowledge of local and regional safety regulations and standards. Relevant certifications in security, safety management, or emergency response will be an added advantage.
