Technical Lead (Energy)

JOB DETAILS: Key Responsibilities. Lead site assessments, energy yield analyses, and concept designs using tools such as PVsyst, Helioscope, or PVSOL. Develop techno-economic models for PV + BESS and hybrid systems using HOMER Pro and/or HOMER Grid to evaluate dispatch strategies, diesel offset potential, system reliability, and tariff scenarios. Produce single-line diagrams, system layouts, cable schedules, and Bills of Quantities (BoQs) using AutoCAD and Excel. Conduct feasibility studies incorporating CAPEX/OPEX estimates, LCOE, performance ratios (PR), system losses, and sensitivity analyses. Lead interconnection and permitting processes with regulatory bodies such as ERA, UMEME, UETCL, and local authorities; coordinate EIA submissions with NEMA as required. Prepare and manage RFP processes for EPC contractors and key suppliers, evaluate technical and commercial bids, and lead clarification and contract award stages. Oversee HSE and ESMS compliance on-site, ensuring strict adherence to safety and environmental standards. Set up monitoring and SCADA systems, define performance ratio and availability guarantees, and ensure smooth handover to O&M with complete documentation.
