Job Summary

We are a leading FMCG distribution company dedicated to delivering high-quality consumer products to retailers and businesses across Kenya. We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse, logistics, and distribution activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities

● Supervise day-to-day warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations.

● Coordinate order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

● Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile variances.

● Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and distribution.

● Supervise and motivate warehouse and delivery staff to achieve operational targets.

● Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and retailers to ensure efficient order fulfillment.

● Track fleet movement, fuel usage, and ensure proper vehicle maintenance.

● Generate and analyze operational reports (stock, delivery, wastage, returns) for management.

● Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in storage and handling.

● Identify areas for process improvement to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

● Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

● 3–5 years’ experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse supervision within FMCG.

● Strong leadership, people management, and organizational skills.

● Good knowledge of stock control, distribution, and last-mile delivery.

● Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse/ERP systems.

● Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

● Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Skills

● Experience in managing fleets and delivery staff.

● Familiarity with FMCG distribution channels and retail market dynamics.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary : Kes 50,000 Net
