At DHL Supply Chain Uganda, we’re looking for Warehouse Controller Role Outline The purpose of the role is to plan, co-ordinate, supervise, manage stocks and other warehouse activities. Key Responsibilities Accurate Receiving of stock/Crates both into the warehouse and on site where applicable. Ensure forklift, warehousemen, loaders productivity is tracked and continuously improved. Ensuring transactions are processed efficiently and accurately to meet client demands. Manage FIFO in the warehouse and ensure the risk of stock expiry in the warehouse eliminated. Ensure stocks are fully accounted for at the end of each shift around operations. Counting of all stock in the location both at the start and at the end of each shift and result entered properly on count sheet. Participate in customer, regulatory and internal operational audits as required and work with the team to implement the agreed action plan. Manage the resources required to run a shift and ensure the resources are ready for timely shift start. Ensure stocks are properly managed to avoid damage and loss to company. Record accurately the stock transactions and make a report at the end of the shift. Manage the shift productivity and delivery of the shift KPI and targets. Ensure accidents and incidents on a shift are reported immediately to the supervisor or manager. Qualifications & Experience Degree in Finance and Accounting, Supply Chain management, procurement and Logistics or any other related course 2-3 years in logistics/Warehouse management WMS Knowledge required.
