Nation Media Group is hiring a dynamic
Senior Business Manager
to lead 360° advertising sales across
Broadcast, Digital, and Print platforms
, with a primary focus on driving growth in
Broadcast and Digital revenues
. The role involves leading, coaching, and motivating a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets, build strategic client relationships, and develop integrated advertising solutions to strengthen Nation Media Group’s market position and commercial growth.
Main Responsibilities
Achieve Nation Media Group’s advertising budgets across
Broadcast, Digital, and Print
, with a focus on growing
Broadcast and Digital platforms
.
Develop and implement integrated
sales strategies, campaigns, and solutions
to maximize cross-platform opportunities.
Lead, coach, and inspire a team of
Business Executives
to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
Build and maintain long-term
client partnerships
, acting as a trusted advisor for multi-platform advertising solutions.
Identify and convert
new business opportunities
, emphasizing
Broadcast and Digital innovation
.
Initiate and negotiate
strategic partnerships and sponsorships
to boost revenue and brand equity.
Monitor
sales performance
, conduct regular reviews, and implement performance improvement strategies.
Manage
debtors’ ledgers
and ensure compliance with credit policies to safeguard revenue.
Promote a
customer-centric culture
, ensuring a high-quality client service experience.
Track
market trends, competitor activity
, and emerging opportunities to inform business strategy.
Collaborate with
Commercial Managers
and cross-functional teams to execute business plans effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
Academic
Bachelor’s degree in
Business, Marketing, Communications
, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Professional qualification in
Sales, Marketing, or Media Management
is an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum of
7 years
of progressive
sales and business management experience
, including at least
3 years
in a supervisory/managerial role in a
media, advertising, or fast-paced commercial environment
.
Proven track record in
Broadcast and Digital advertising sales
, with exposure to cross-platform selling (
desirable).
Extensive knowledge of
multi-media commercialization
and cross-integration with partnerships.
Membership in a professional body in
marketing, leadership
, or related fields.
Strong
cross-functional leadership skills
.
Skilled in
project management
.
Skills & Competencies
Exceptional
leadership and people management skills
, with the ability to coach and motivate teams.
Excellent
communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Deep understanding of the
media advertising ecosystem
