Description

Bondrich Advisory Group is hiring a Procurement and Logistics Officer with the following duties and responsibilities;

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Identify and pre-qualify potential suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and machinery spare parts.

Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers while actively seeking alternative sources to mitigate risk.

Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery, Quality (Rejection Rates), and Responsiveness.

Prepare, administer, and manage supply agreements and contracts.

Ensure all procured materials meet the precise technical specifications required for different production lines (injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, etc.).

Work closely with the planning and warehouse departments to monitor stock levels of critical raw materials and avoid both stock-outs and excessive inventory.

Respond effectively to Material Requirements Planning (MRP) signals to generate and place purchase orders.

Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely inbound delivery of materials, considering lead times and shipping terms (Incoterms).

Ensure all suppliers adhere to the company’s quality standards and relevant industry certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).

Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs) accurately within the ERP/MRP system.

Collaborate with the finance department to resolve any invoice discrepancies related to pricing or receipts.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Procurement Officer, preferably within a manufacturing environment (plastics, chemicals, or FMCG is highly desirable).

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
