Description
Sokoni Africa Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Japanese Restaurant Supervisor to lead our team at our exquisite Japanese dining establishment. As a Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and promoting an authentic Japanese culinary experience.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities
Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service are met
Supervise, train, and develop restaurant staff to enhance their skills and performance
Build a rapport with guests and manage customer feedback effectively
Assist in creating and implementing menu changes and promotions
Monitor inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels to meet customer demand
Prepare reports on restaurant performance, guest satisfaction, and staff efficiency
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant supervision, preferably in a Japanese cuisine environment
Degree in Hospitality Management or related field is an advantage
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Familiarity with Japanese cuisine, dining customs, and culture
Ability to thrive in a busy environment and manage multiple tasks
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
