Fintech is seeking a qualified Human Resources Officer to carryout the following duties and responsibilities;
Location: Uganda
Key Roles and Responsibilities
HR administration: Provide administrative support to the HR function across the group including handling HR administrative roles and responsibilities.
Participate in the recruitment and Induction programs and facilitate new employee information and maintenance of employee documents.
Assist in the administration and maintenance of the staff performance review process.
Support in the interpretation of HR Policies, procedures, guidelines and employee relations issues to staff.
Coordinate the annual Staff Recognition Awards i.e Employee service awards
Develop and maintain a centralized position description data base for all positions.
Maintain human resource data bases to ensure correct recording of all staff and employment related information as required.
Leave management: Keep track of employee leave utilization for record-keeping and accountability
Support in managing staff staff discipline on a day to day basis.
Documenting HR administrative data as and when required.
Talent Acquisition and development
Identify, source and recruit the right talent fit for Fintech Group
Coordinate recruitment cycle; Junior to Mid level roles.
Participate in developing and implementing Talent acquisition strategies
Assist in identifying and addressing recruitment needs in conjunction with various stakeholders in order to build a high performance workforce
Support in the career development programs
Conduct new hire background checks and assessments
Participating in updating Job duties, Staff data from time to time
Educational Level and experience required for the position
Background in Business administration, Human Resource Management option.
4 years’ experience in general HR Administration with proven technical skills in general HR best practice including sound knowledge of Uganda employment laws.
A Certified Human Resource Professional ( CHRP) is highly preferred.
A member of HR professional body.
Demonstrated experience in working in a multi-cultural setting i.e Kenya, Zimbabwe, Malawi, or Mauritius) is an added advantage
Good aptitude abilities with ability to handle deliverables in a fast paced Corporate/ IT environment.
Strong experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment and People management is desired.
Resilient with high personal integrity, interpersonal and people skills.
High degree of proficiency and productivity.
Report writing: Strong in data capturing and HR analytics.
