Sokoni Africa Limited is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Procurement Assistant to join our hospitality procurement team. In this role, you will support the procurement process specifically for hotel operations, ensuring that all necessary supplies and services are acquired efficiently and cost-effectively.
Responsibilities
Assist in sourcing and procuring hotel supplies and services, including linens, furniture, and food & beverage products
Maintain up-to-date records of suppliers, contracts, and procurement transactions
Process purchase orders and coordinate the timely delivery of goods to the hotel
Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management within the hotel premises
Collaborate with various departments to understand procurement needs and specifications
Assist in evaluating supplier performance and conducting market research
Support the procurement team with administrative duties and reporting tasks
Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Prior experience in procurement or administrative roles, preferably in a hospitality setting, is an advantage
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced
