Arbertier Engineering Company is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Help Desk & Administrative Support Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, coordinating with field teams, filing monthly URA returns and taxes, supporting internal stakeholders, and performing daily back-office tasks essential for smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tax and Regulatory Compliance

Prepare and file monthly URA returns for VAT, PAYE, NSSF, and other statutory obligations.

Ensure all tax-related documentation is accurate, updated, and submitted within required deadlines.

Liaise with accountants and regulatory bodies for compliance matters.

2. Stakeholder and Customer Management

Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls, emails, and customer inquiries.

Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Handle customer complaints and escalate issues where necessary.

3. Coordination with Field Teams

Act as the communication bridge between management, field technicians, and customers.

Schedule and track daily field activities, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.

Provide logistical and administrative support to field teams.

4. Back Office and Administrative Duties

Maintain and organize company records, reports, and documentation.

Support procurement processes, inventory updates, and basic office coordination.

Assist in preparing weekly/monthly performance reports.

Ensure continuity and efficient workflow for all business operations.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, IT, or related field.

Experience in administrative work, customer service, or help desk operations.

Knowledge of URA online systems and tax filing procedures is an added advantage.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
