Cloud Data Platform Support Engineer

Vacancy Details Employer: Tumaini Consulting My client is looking for a Cloud Data Platform Support Engineer, fully remote role. Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field · 3+ years of hands-on experience in support engineering, cloud operations, or data engineering (Microsoft Azure preferred) · Strong practical experience with cloud-hosted data platforms (data warehouses, pipeline orchestration, distributed compute engines) · Proficiency in SQL, Transact-SQL, Python, and Spark workloads · Knowledge of incident management practices, monitoring, and observability tools · Excellent communication skills to explain technical challenges to technical and non-technical audiences · Professional certifications in cloud data engineering, administration, or architecture (Microsoft Azure preferred) · Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and virtualization (Docker) · Experience with modern analytics platforms (Databricks, Spark, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric) · Advantageous: experience with AWS or GCP, automated deployment pipelines, infrastructure as code, CI/CD practices If you would like to apply for this position, please send transcripts with applications.
