Steel & Tube Industries Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced

Assistant SAP Manager

to support the management, configuration, and performance of the SAP system. The role involves ensuring smooth system operations, supporting users, maintaining data integrity, and providing training and technical assistance across departments.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

System Management & Support

Introduce and onboard new users to the SAP system.

Assign user access rights and periodically review permissions for compliance and security.

Configure, maintain, and update the SAP system as needed.

Provide day-to-day SAP technical support and troubleshooting.

Perform regular data backups and ensure the security of the company database.

Monitor system performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Develop and maintain customized SAP reports.

Adapt to new SAP system updates, modules, and process changes.

Collaborate with the IT team to resolve technical queries and system-related issues.

User Training & System Integration

Train new staff on SAP system usage and best practices.

Ensure proper understanding of SAP processes across departments.

Coordinate with different departments to ensure seamless SAP integration into operations.

Compliance & Maintenance

Renew and manage company software licenses.

Understand, implement, and maintain all ISO systems within the company.

Ensure SAP use aligns with company policies and data protection standards.

Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and order in and around the workplace.

Enforce PPE usage and adherence to safety procedures.

Guide and train employees—especially new ones—on safe working practices and environmental maintenance.

Assist management in identifying resources to enhance EHS performance.

Promote proper waste management, immediate spill cleanup, and good housekeeping practices.

Support corrective actions for any EHS deficiencies identified during audits or routine checks.

Ensure prompt medical attention for casualties and collaborate with HR and systems coordinators during incident investigations.

Safeguard company property and staff security.

Promote teamwork, professionalism, integrity, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Office Computing, or Computer Science.

Experience:

Minimum of

3 years

in SAP management, configuration, or IT systems administration.
