MTN Uganda is hiring an Accountant – Projects responsible for CAPEX budget control as per approved budgets and projects financial reporting as per Accounting and CAPEX Governance procedures as well as in-charge of asset leases accounting and reporting in line with IFRS 16
Reports to:
Manager – Capital Investments Finance
Main Job Functions:
Lease accounting (IFRS 16)
Ensure an up-to-date lease register is kept by updating the asset lease solution is accurately maintained and updated with additions, disposals and adjustments
Post monthly lease related journals and reconciliation of various general ledger accounts as they pertain to Leases
