JOB DETAILS: FARM MAINTENANCE MECHANIC – MUBENDE FARM Location: Mubende, Uganda Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair farm machinery and equipment Develop, implement, and follow preventive maintenance schedules Carry out routine inspections to minimize breakdowns and downtime Maintain diesel generators, pumps, tractors, sprayers, and small farm equipment Perform basic electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs Keep accurate maintenance and service records Report major faults and maintenance needs to the Operations Manager Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of PPE Requirements Proven previous experience in farm, mechanical, or equipment maintenance Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field (preferred) Good knowledge of diesel engines, pumps, and farm machinery Ability to plan and manage preventive maintenance Reliable, disciplined, and willing to work full-time on a farm in Mubende
