About the job Job Summary The General Machine Operator is responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and other equipment. Roles And Responsibilities Operate various heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, etc. Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on machinery. Follow site plans and specifications to complete tasks. Communicate with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE. Identify and report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor. Job Requirements Uganda Valid Driving/Operating Permit with Class F (Engineering Machines) Minimum of 5 years of experience operating heavy machinery. Ability to perform routine maintenance and pre-operation checks. Strong understanding of site plans and specifications. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members.
