JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Luganda Teacher
Type: Remote
Location: Kampala / Online
Key Duties
Plan and teach engaging Luganda lessons (speaking, reading, writing, grammar & culture)
Incorporate proverbs, folktales, music, drama and Baganda traditions
Assess students for fluency goals
Create/adapt teaching materials and use ICT in lessons
Emphasize culture and Luganda always.
Requirements
Native or near-native Luganda speaker
Degree/Diploma in Education (Luganda) or Luganda/Linguistics + teaching qualification.
1–2 years teaching experience (preferred)
Passionate, patient, creative and good with children
proficiency with It tools (zoom, google classroom) is a must have skill.
