Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely drive passengers or assigned personnel to various destinations as scheduled.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle at all times.
• Adhere to all traffic rules, road safety, and company driving policies.
• Ensure timely reporting to work and punctual pickups/drop-offs.
• Record mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or maintenance needs.
• Report any vehicle defects or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
• Assist passengers with luggage or other needs when required.
• Maintain professional and courteous conduct with passengers, clients, and colleagues.
• Perform routine checks (oil, water, tire pressure, etc.) to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
Key Requirements
• Valid Driving License
• Valid PSV (Public Service Vehicle) driver’s license.
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience, preferably in a taxi or transport company.
• Good knowledge of Nairobi roads and traffic patterns.
• Clean driving record and certificate of good conduct.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, honest, and customer-focused.
Working Conditions:
• Shifts may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• May be assigned to a specific client or vehicle on a full-time basis.
