Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present a variety of stews and local dishes to the highest standards.
  • Suggest and implement menu improvements and seasonal additions.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and food quality.
  • Lead kitchen staff and foster teamwork and discipline.
  • Work closely with management to uphold the restaurant’s values and culinary identity.
  • Operate efficiently in a fast-paced, rotational work schedule.
  • Support smooth kitchen operations through hands-on involvement and problem-solving.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a reputable restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of Ugandan local cuisines and stews. Creative, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Eager to learn, adapt, and align with the restaurant’s culture.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and deliver consistent results.
