Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Quantity Surveyor to support cost estimation, contract administration, and project management in construction projects. This is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong foundation in surveying and a passion for delivering high-quality infrastructure outcomes.

Job Description/Requirements

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Solid understanding of construction costs, project budgeting, and tendering processes

• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildertrend, or similar)

• Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and technical drawings

• Knowledge of building regulations, contract law, and health & safety standards

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high accuracy in cost assessments

• Ability to prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQs), cost estimates, and project reports

Key Responsibilities

1. Cost Estimation & Budgeting

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BoQs, and cost plans

• Analyze project cost data and support tender documentation

• Align budgets with client requirements and procurement strategies

2. Contract Administration & Project Support

• Evaluate contractor bids and assist with interim valuations

• Monitor project costs and assess variations and scope changes

• Support final account preparation and maintain financial records

3. Collaboration & Communication

• Liaise with project teams, engineers, and contractors

• Attend site visits, meetings, and inspections

• Communicate cost-related updates to clients, suppliers, and stakeholders

4. Technical & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry standards

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost documentation
