Job Description/Requirements
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Site Preparation:
Clear debris and hazards to maintain a safe work environment.
Set up and dismantle scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures.
Material Handling:
Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
Distribute tools and supplies to designated work areas.
Equipment Operation:
Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as drills, jackhammers, and compactors.
Assist with operating heavy equipment under supervision.
Assisting Tradespeople:
Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other skilled workers.
Mix and pour concrete, dig trenches, and prepare surfaces for construction.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all health and safety regulations on-site.
Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
Good physical stamina and ability to perform labor-intensive tasks.
Familiarity with basic construction tools and techniques.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Previous experience in construction is an advantage but not mandatory.
