Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, solution-oriented Operations Fleet Specialist to support the day-to-day management of our electric motorcycle fleet and ride-hailing or delivery rider network. This role is critical to ensuring smooth operations, rider performance, and rapid response to service disruptions across our EV mobility ecosystem.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities


 1. Fleet Management & Technical Support

* Oversee the operational readiness of electric motorcycles, ensuring all vehicles are well-maintained and roadworthy.

* Understand basic EV mechanics and perform minor troubleshooting or repairs when required.

* Coordinate with technical teams for preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.

2. Battery-Swapping Operations

* Supervise battery-swapping stations and ensure efficient execution of the swapping process.

* Train riders on battery usage, safety protocols, and correct swapping procedures.

* Monitor battery inventory and report anomalies, shortages, or technical issues.

3. Rider Onboarding & Compliance

* Recruit and onboard Boda-boda and delivery riders according to company standards.

* Conduct orientation sessions to ensure riders understand operational policies and safety guidelines.

* Monitor rider activity daily and enforce compliance with company regulations.

4. Immediate Rescue & Field Support
* Provide real-time support in cases of vehicle breakdowns or delivery disruptions.
* Coordinate replacement vehicles or alternative transport to minimize downtime.
* Maintain clear communication with riders during emergencies and escalate critical issues promptly.
 5. Performance Monitoring & Motivation
* Track rider performance metrics, including delivery volume, punctuality, customer feedback, and working hours.
* Motivate riders through performance-based incentives, coaching, and consistent engagement.
* Identify underperforming riders and implement appropriate corrective actions or retraining.

Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in fleet operations, preferably with electric motorcycles or delivery logistics.
* Technical knowledge of EV motorcycle systems and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate rider teams effectively.
* Ability to work under pressure and respond promptly to field challenges.
* Familiarity with dispatch systems, rider tracking tools, and performance dashboards.
