JOB PURPOSE:

To support the daily implementation of plans as per agreed brand/marketing strategy in timely manner to achieve set objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Steward the MPL/TEA brand to support brand promise, brand position and achieves overall business goals for the brand
  • Conduct extensive market research and analyze studies of consumer behavior and market share relative to competitor products
  • Engages, inspires and galvanizes the organization around the brand vision, position and strategies so they are clear in bringing them to life in their areas of functional expertise.
  • Works collaboratively with marketing activation to execute packaging designs consistent with the brand
  • Analyzes consumer trends and information, and categories to help identify product categories to enter as future sources of growth.
  • Determines gaps in the market and seeks ways to fill them with the information derived from research
  • Supports implementation of all MPL/TEA brand plans.
  • Develop, implement and monitor media schedules for brand activities for internal and external media.
  • Develop and maintain database for suppliers, agents, vendors, advertiser and readers.
  • Support new product launches.
  • Implements promotional activities and campaigns. Merchandising management for all ABL and BTL medium.

Generate revenue from partnerships

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Academic and Experience:

Academic: University Degree in Marketing or any business related field from an accredited institution

Professional:Diploma in Professional Marketing is an added advantage.

Experience: At least 3 years' experience in brands and communication, preferably in an FMCG company
