Head of Growth – Africa

JOB DETAILS: Role Overview: As the Head of Growth, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive growth strategies that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention across diverse African markets. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the fintech landscape and a proven track record of scaling businesses in emerging markets. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Growth Planning: Develop and implement data-driven growth strategies aligned with the company’s vision and objectives, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and revenue generation Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate new market opportunities across Africa, tailoring strategies to local contexts and consumer behaviors. Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product, marketing, sales, and engineering teams to ensure cohesive execution of growth initiatives. Performance Marketing: Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns, optimizing for key metrics such as CAC, LTV, and conversion rates. Data Analytics: Leverage analytics tools to monitor KPIs, derive insights, and inform strategic decisions. Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing growth team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Partnership Development: Forge strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and drive user engagement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred. Minimum of 7 years in growth marketing or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position within the fintech or startup ecosystem. Expertise in analytics tools  and CRM. Deep understanding of the African market landscape, consumer behavior, and regulatory environments. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
