Description
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Field Facilitator will:
- Support the delivery of Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) trainings in collaboration with Community-Based Trainers (CBTs) and cooperatives;
- Support the establishment, follow-up and use of CSA demonstration plots;
- Strengthen the capacities of CBTs and cooperative technical teams through coaching and on-the-job support;
- Contribute to regenerative soil management activities, including soil testing, biochar demonstrations and agroforestry actions;
- Integrate gender and youth approaches, including the GALS methodology, and support the strengthening of Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs);
- Support cooperatives and MSMEs in market readiness, traceability and compliance with EUDR requirements;
- Ensure the collection and reporting of field-level data in line with the project Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) framework;
- Contribute to documentation of results, lessons learned and good practices.
- Collaboration and supervision
- The Field Facilitator reports to the Project Manager and works in close collaboration with the MEL team, cooperatives, Community-Based Trainers, MSMEs and local stakeholders.
