The CEO will lead this growth trajectory, strengthen market position, drive operational excellence, and build a world-class customer experience footprint across the country. Role Purpose The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Uganda, provides enterprise-wide leadership for commercial performance, operational execution, customer excellence, financial sustainability, and organizational culture. This role is accountable for long-term business success, impact delivery, and the continuous expansion of energy access across Uganda. The CEO will drive growth, scale systems and teams, deepen customer value, and enhance profitability while safeguarding mission and values. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Market Direction Develop and deliver a country strategy aligned to company mission, growth targets, and Uganda’s energy market landscape. Identify opportunities across rural, peri-urban, and urban markets and drive penetration strategies. Track regulatory, energy policy, and market ecosystem shifts to inform future decision-making and risk planning. Commercial and Customer Growth Lead commercial execution across sales, marketing, business development, and product diversification. Expand the customer base and drive higher customer lifetime value through retention, loyalty, and upgrade pathways. Strengthen Uganda’s customer experience model, ensuring service reliability, responsiveness, efficiency, and trust.
