Description
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Consultation: Conducting initial assessments, reviewing medical histories, and creating, implementing, or evaluating customized patient care plans.
- Cosmetic & Laser Procedures: Assisting with or independently performing aesthetic treatments, such as Botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, laser hair removal, and skin rejuvenation therapies.
- Dermatology Procedures: Assisting doctors with skin cancer screenings, minor surgeries (e.g., punch biopsies), suturing, and, in some cases, specialized treatments like photodynamic therapy.
- Wound Care & Treatment: Providing wound care, changing dressings, and managing skin issues like acne, eczema, or psoriasis.
- Education & Support: Advising patients on skincare routines, pre- and post-treatment care, and sun protection to ensure optimal results.
- Clinical Administration: Maintaining accurate, confidential patient records, taking before-and-after photos, and ensuring sterilization of equipment and treatment rooms.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: BSc. or PCL Nursing Qualification.
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience: Previous experience in a dermatology or aesthetic setting is often preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction, high attention to detail for procedures, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
