The firm is looking for a committed and self-confident individual WHO IS STUDYING TOWARDS AN ACCREDITED ACCOUNTING DEGREE, with excellent people skills, and who can work with a team but is also capable of working independently.

The position is for the completion of either SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA, or ACCA articles.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Capture transactions in accounting records
• Perform reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements
• Perform tax calculations and complete tax returns for individuals and companies
• Complete VAT returns
• Perform general accounting functions according to company methodologies
• Perform general and specialized auditing functions (from planning to conducting, and concluding engagements) according to company methodology
• Assist managers with various client matters, including administrative work
