    We are looking a Bookkeeper to manage the business's daily financial transactions and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records. This role is vital for tracking cash flow and generating the foundational data used for financial reporting and tax purposes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Recording Financial Transactions: Documenting all income and expenses, purchases, sales revenue, invoices, and payments in the appropriate ledgers.
    • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Managing the end-to-end process of vendor invoices and tracking customer payments and outstanding debts.
    • Bank Reconciliation: Comparing the company's financial records (general ledger) with bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
    • Payroll Processing: Calculating employee wages, deductions, and taxes, and ensuring timely payment and compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Financial Reporting: Preparing basic financial reports and summaries, such as balance sheets, income statements (profit and loss), and cash flow statements for management review and decision-making.
    • Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring all financial actions comply with local, state, and federal legal requirements and maintaining an organized filing system for all financial documents and records.
    • Assisting Accountants: Collaborating with external accountants or auditors, often by bringing the books to the trial balance stage, for year-end reporting and tax filings.
