- Administration of the Treasury function including onboarding client static detail and a firm understanding of the relevant FICA requirements for individuals and entities.
- The daily preparation of Treasury payments for approval of financial manager and financial director.
- Collection of clients tax certificates from multiple investment houses on behalf of clients.
- Preparation of Forex BOP (balance of payments) forms for international payment processes.
- Preparation and submission of personal and company tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax filings.
- Ad hoc cashbook postings into Xero in support to the broader NFB Finance team.
Position Overview
NFB Private Wealth Management JHB is seeking an experienced Treasury and Tax assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate must have an administration background with experience in basic finance knowledge (creditors payments, reconciliation and data capturing), a high attention to detail and accuracy, previous experience in engagement with SARS, basic tax understanding and experience the preparation of personal and company tax returns. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Sandton, Johannesburg.
