Teach For Uganda
Overview
Teach For Uganda is a leadership development organization that recruits, trains, and places recent university graduates as two-year full-time teachers in underserved primary schools to address educational inequity. The program focuses on improving foundational literacy and numeracy skills for students and developing leadership skills in the fellows, with the goal of creating leaders who will drive systemic change in Uganda’s education system long-term. Fellows receive training, a living stipend, and ongoing support throughout their fellowship.
