Overview
The International Potato Center (CIP) is a non-profit research-for-development organization focused on potatoes, sweetpotatoes, and other Andean roots and tubers. Founded in 1971 and headquartered in Lima, Peru, CIP is part of the CGIAR research partnership and works to deliver science-based solutions to address food insecurity, poverty, and climate change in developing countries.
