Overview
Health Access Connect (HAC) is an organization that provides essential healthcare services to remote communities in Uganda through mobile outreach clinics. Its “Medicycles” program uses motorcycle taxis to transport health workers and supplies to villages, delivering services like HIV/AIDS care, family planning, maternal and child health, and malaria treatment. HAC’s model empowers communities and partners with local health officials to create sustainable access to healthcare where it would otherwise be unavailable.
