Overview

Handybees is hiring experienced Fridge Technicians to provide gas refilling and repair services for domestic and commercial refrigerators. If you have the skills to fix cooling issues and handle refrigerant refills safely, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in fridges and freezers (compressor, thermostat, leaks, etc.)

• Refill refrigerant gas (R134a, R600a, R410a, etc.) safely and accurately

• Detect and seal gas leaks

• Repair or replace compressors, fans, and other electrical components

• Clean and service condenser coils and drainage systems

• Educate customers on fridge maintenance and care

• Maintain tools and keep records of all repairs and gas refills

Requirements

• Proven experience in fridge gas refilling and refrigeration repair

• Knowledge of different refrigerant gases and safety handling procedures

• Certification in refrigeration or appliance repair (an added advantage)

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and cooling components

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

• Punctual, honest, and customer-focused

• Must be able to work independently and respond to on-call jobs
