Overview

Handybees is expanding and we’re looking for skilled, experienced, and reliable Electricians to join our dynamic team. This role involves delivering high-quality residential and commercial electrical services to our growing client base in and around Kampala.

Requirements

• • • At least 1–2 years of hands-on electrical experience

    • Certificate or diploma in electrical installation (vocational training preferred)

    • Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety standards

    • Good communication skills

    • Ability to travel to different job sites

Skill

• • 1. 1. Electrical Wiring & Installation
          – Proficient in wiring homes, offices, and commercial buildings.

       2. Troubleshooting Electrical Systems
          – Able to identify and repair faults in circuits, breakers, and panels.

       3. Reading Blueprints & Schematics
          – Understand and interpret electrical plans and wiring diagrams.

       4. Knowledge of Electrical Codes
          – Familiar with Uganda's electrical safety standards and regulations.

       5. Use of Electrical Tools & Testing Equipment
          – Skilled in using multimeters, testers, conduit benders, and power tools.

       6. Lighting & Power Installation
          – Experience installing lights, sockets, switches, and backup systems.

       7. Safety Practices
          – Adheres to proper PPE use and electrical safety procedures.

       8. Solar System Installation (Optional but Valuable)
          – Bonus if experienced in solar panels, inverters, and battery systems.

       9. Customer Service
          – Friendly, respectful, and professional with clients.

       10. Teamwork & Reliability
           – Works well alone or as part of a team; dependable and punctual.
