Overview

Handybees is looking for skilled and reliable plumbers to join our growing team in Uganda. If you have experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

• • Proven experience as a plumber (minimum 1–2 years preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials

  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints

  • Good communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Certification or vocational training in plumbing is an added advantage

Skill

• • 1. Pipe Installation & Repair
       – Ability to install, connect, and repair water supply and drainage systems.

    2. Leak Detection & Fixing
       – Skilled in identifying and repairing leaks in pipes, taps, and toilets.

    3. Knowledge of Plumbing Tools & Equipment
       – Proficient in using wrenches, pipe cutters, threaders, plungers, etc.

    4. Reading Blueprints & Technical Drawings
       – Ability to interpret construction diagrams and building plans.

    5. Fixture Installation
       – Experience installing sinks, faucets, bathtubs, water heaters, and toilets.

    6. Soldering & Pipe Joining
       – Knowledge of joining metal or PVC pipes using welding or adhesive techniques.

    7. Water Pressure Testing & Flow Diagnosis
       – Ability to assess and regulate water pressure and troubleshoot flow issues.

    8. Basic Electrical Awareness
       – Understanding of how plumbing interacts with electrical systems (e.g., water heaters).

    9. Customer Service
       – Polite, professional interaction with clients, especially in residential settings.

    10. Safety & Compliance Knowledge
        – Understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations in Uganda
